Alec Bardey

Alec Bardey is a Data Scientist for the Education Lab. As a Data Scientist, Alec evaluates education outcomes using machine learning approaches, provides technical assistance for RCT implementation, and processes data for analyses. Previously, Alec has spent a great deal of time in the classroom — both as a student and as a teacher. His past research focuses on applied machine learning in the fields of transportation, education, and crime. Alec holds an MS in Applied Urban Science and Informatics from NYU and a BA in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania.
