Alexandria Tabasso is a Program Manager for the Education Lab. Alexandria works alongside the Associate Director to provide support in standing up high-quality school-based tutoring interventions in a manner that enables the multi-year Personalized Learning Initiative research study. She works to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships between key stakeholders including educators, school leaders, tutoring vendors, district officials, research staff and faculty, and civic and philanthropic partners to achieve the goals of the PLI project.

Prior to coming to the Lab, Alexandria had extensive experience working in both public and charter K-12 schools with a focus on middle school literacy. Most recently, Alexandria managed a middle school district literacy intervention program that worked to ensure all students were fluent by the time they reached high school. Alexandria additionally has experience as a school-based literacy leader that supported English learners, students with reading challenges, and students with dyslexia. Alexandria began her career in education teaching middle school English language arts with Teach for America. Alexandria holds a Master of Science in Education and Social Change from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs and Latin American Studies from Miami University.
