Ellen Dunn is a Project Director for the Education Lab helping to oversee the Personalized Learning Initiative (PLI). The Personalized Learning Initiative is a multiyear effort to help districts scale tutoring supports to reach more students while studying what interventions work best for which students. In her role, Ellen coordinates logistics across the project to help execute this ambitious research agenda.

Prior to coming to the Labs, Ellen spent six years teaching in Title I schools. She taught math at a public high school in the Bronx (through Teach for America) and at a KIPP charter middle school in Newark. She graduated from the University of Chicago in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, and she holds a master’s degree in Education from Fordham University.
