Priyal Patil is a Research Manager for the Crime Lab and Education Lab. Her primary responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, managing project timelines, ensuring timely completion of analytical work, and maintaining project logs.

Prior to her current role, Priyal worked with Imago Global Grassroots, where she oversaw the planning and implementation of state-level initiatives to merge two major rural development schemes in India. She has also worked with JPAL South Asia on a study aimed at improving childhood vaccination rates and previously served as a Research Associate with the Indian School of Business.

Priyal holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering Amravati, India. Her research interests focus on issues related to caste, race, gender discrimination, and education.
